Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the complete appearance of the Deli. The area should be maintained to the standard required by the hotel at all times.
  • To ensure the deli is attended at all times.
  • Customers should be greeted as soon as they enter the Deli and they should be served as efficiently as possible. 
  • To attend training meetings / courses.
  • To attend staff meetings. 
  • To report any feedback from guests to Deli/Duty Manager immediately.
  • To carry out Deli cleaning procedures as and when required and to ensure that the deli and all other associated areas are clean, tidy and well presented at all times
  • To ensure to carry out docket and ordering procedure, and that everything is charged to the appropriate table or room number.
  • To ensure prompt and accurate billing procedures 
  • .To know hotel layout, facilities, times of opening etc. 
  • To maximise sales
  • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Comply with the safety rules and procedures – Health & Safety, Hygiene and Fire.
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by your Manager.

Requirements


The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills. Previous hospitality experience is desirable. This position will involve evening and weekend shifts and may be suitable for a student.
